CAUTION: Test the temperature of Ora-GUARD with your fingertip before putting it in your mouth. Ora-GUARD should be stored at a warm, comfortable temperature. Carefully attach Ora-GUARD to the lower teeth with a mirror. Align the ‘notch’ in the center of the band with the center of the lower front teeth. Gently bite down on Ora-GUARD and push it against the inside of your mouth or cheek with your fingertips to adhere the material to your teeth and gums. Note: Don't press too hard. Press your tongue firmly against the roof of your mouth and then suck lightly to draw out both air and water, creating a true room effect. Continue shaping the Ora-GUARD with your fingertips. Place it in your mouth for a total of 2 minutes, then place the Ora-GUARD in a bowl of cold water for 5 minutes. You now have a comfortable, fitting Ora-GUARD. If necessary, you can repeat the fitting process one more time to improve the fit. After use, brush your braces with toothpaste and rinse with cool water. Do not use hot water.
