Guarana is a natural, herbal source of Caffeine and other phytochemicals. It’s seeds contain about twice the concentration of Caffeine found in coffee beans. Guarana contains widely varying mixtures of xanthine alkaloids other than Caffeine, including Theophylline and Theobromine and other substances such as polyphenols. It has traditionally been used as a refresher.
