【Cautions for using electrical products】
When using electrical appliances, please note that the voltage is different from that of Japan, which may cause malfunctions.
Since the plug type is Japan type(A or B type), please check the voltage and use a transformer.
Please note that a transformer is different from a conversion adapter.
We are not responsible for malfunctions caused by use without a transformer.
【Voltage Compatibility】
When using electrical appliances, please note that they are designed for Japanese voltage specifications (90-110V), so if you use them with a different voltage, it may cause a malfunction.
【Plug Type】
Our products use Japanese plug types (A or B type).
Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.
【Important Note on Transformers and Adapters】
A transformer adjusts voltage to match your device’s requirements.
A conversion adapter only changes the plug shape and does not adjust voltage.
Using only a conversion adapter without a transformer may result in damage to the product.
【Liability】
We are not responsible for malfunctions or damages caused by improper use, such as operating the product without a transformer.

[For refilling the Kintsugi kit] A tube containing 30g of natural raw lacquer used for Kintsugi and lacquer painting. This is a single sale of the raw lacquer included in our popular "Kintsugi Kit". Lacquer arts such as kintsugi, which use natural lacquer, have been popular for a long time because they can be used for tableware and are said to have antibacterial properties.
[Kintsugi with fresh lacquer] "Urushi", which is the sap of the lacquer tree, is a valuable resource. The 30g tube is the perfect size for Kintsugi. In order to maintain freshness and dry quickly, we recommend using up lacquer after about a year and replacing it with a new one.
[About raw lacquer] Raw lacquer is a natural product. Avoid high temperatures, especially in the summer, and store in a cool, dark place away from light, such as a refrigerator. Be sure to wear rubber gloves when working as it may cause a rash if it comes in contact with your skin. If it comes in contact with your skin, wipe it off immediately with oil and wash thoroughly with soap.
[About kintsugi ware] Tsugu Tsugu's kintsugi kit uses traditional kintsugi using genuine lacquer and natural materials, so it can also be used for tableware. Kintsugi ware is treated in the same way as lacquerware. Please note that you cannot use the microwave, dishwasher, oven, or open flame.
[About the Kintsugi Kit] The easy-to-start Kintsugi kit (sold separately) comes with all-color easy-to-understand instructions and videos (Japanese and English), so even beginners can easily enjoy Kintsugi by themselves. It is supervised by Katsuya Shibata, who has been involved in lacquer art for over 30 years.
Raw lacquer is a natural product, and depending on your constitution and physical condition, you may get a rash if it comes into contact with your skin. Therefore, when using it, always wear rubber gloves, wear long-sleeved clothes, avoid exposing your skin, and tie your hair up. If it gets on your skin, wipe the area immediately with oil (rapeseed oil or canola oil is best, but if you don't have it, use salad oil) and wash thoroughly with soap. If you get a rash, stop using it and consult your doctor. Avoid high temperatures, especially in the summer, and store in a cool, dark place away from light, such as a refrigerator. To maintain quality, we recommend that you use up raw lacquer as soon as possible and replace it frequently. (Lacquer will dry slower over time) As a rough guide, please purchase new raw lacquer every year.
