The dust disposal sensor detects when shredded debris accumulates in the dust box and stops shredding to prevent debris from getting caught in the cutter blades.

The cross cut method also increases the capacity of the machine. The cross cut type allows for more waste to be contained, reducing the number of times you need to dispose of waste.
