I don't have that much space around my mini PC and I use the adapter to connect a docking station with a USB-C port to the PC. So I can put the dock on the mini PC and everything works great. The adapter has a low height and takes up very little space.

The adapter can only be used for a phone without a cover. When the phone is in the case, the distance between the USB-C and USB-A plugs is too small to plug in the adapter.

If the phone or tablet is in a case, there is no connection to the socket :(
