It magnifies quite well. You just have to get used to it, because you have to look at yourself by bringing the mirror very close to your eyes to get clarity. At first it seems not very comfortable. And you have to come up with and make a holder for the mirror yourself, because the proposed option with suction cups does not allow you to adjust the tilt of the mirror, which is extremely inconvenient. Personally, I glued the mirror with double-sided tape to the back of another table mirror with tilt adjustment. After some time of use I got used to that mirror. It is quite acceptable. Only the mirror mount on suction cups is extremely inconvenient to use.
