This is an adapter ring for attaching a commercially available filter for camera lenses to a Vixen lens barrel.
Used by attaching to the internal thread of the Direct Focus Wide Adapter 60DX (sold separately), Direct Focus Wide Adapter 60 (sold separately), R200SS camera rotation ring (included with the lens barrel or sold separately), and 60→50.8AD (sold separately).
Previously, commercially available filters could only be attached to lens barrels that could be used with correction lenses such as flatteners and reducers, but by now supporting major camera adapters such as the Direct Focus Wide Adapter 60DX, it is now compatible with lens barrels where filters could not previously be attached.
The Direct Focus Wide Adapter 60DX and Direct Focus Wide Adapter 60 can also be used in conjunction with correction lenses such as various reducers and flatteners.
The M56 Filter Conversion Adapter 48/52 has a reversible structure, so it can be installed in the correct direction depending on the purpose. Equipped with 48mm and 52mm screws on each side, compatible with commercially available filters of 48mm and 52mm (standard), respectively.
