Caran d'Ache is a stationery brand headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The brand name, which means "pencil" in Russian, is derived from the pen name of Emmanuel Poiret, a Russian caricaturist who was active in France. The 849 Collection, which is centered around a hexagonal pencil-like shape, is simple, casual, and cute. The easy-to-hold design, similar to writing with a pencil, allows you to use it anywhere, both on and off. The refill uses Caran d'Ache's proud "Goliat cartridge." It has 6 tracks that send ink to the ball at the tip, and since it is possible to send ink to the ball in small pieces, there is almost no ink dripping.
